- World AIDS Day 2023: DMCH Students Perform Street Play to Raise Awareness
On December 1st, 2023, in observance of World AIDS Day, students from Dhubri Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) performed a street play focused on AIDS prevention and awareness. The performance took place in front of the Outpatient Department (OPD) to engage and educate the public effectively.
The street play aimed to sensitize the community about HIV/AIDS, emphasizing prevention strategies, reducing stigma, and encouraging testing and treatment. By choosing a public venue like the OPD entrance, the students ensured that the message reached a broad audience, including patients, visitors, and staff.
This initiative reflects DMCH's commitment to community health education and the proactive involvement of its students in public health campaigns. We commend the participants for their dedication to raising awareness and contributing to the global fight against HIV/AIDS.
